The official Eberspächer application is available free of charge, offering a convenient interface for controlling one or multiple Eberspächer pre-heaters via a smartphone. It allows users to access and manage pre-heater functions remotely from anywhere in the world. Additionally, it supports fleet management of up to ten vehicles through a single device.
The application enables users to start and stop the pre-heating process, monitor the current status of the pre-heater and interior temperature, and pre-program up to three scheduled events to enhance comfort. For instance, it can automatically activate the pre-heater the following morning, providing warmth after late returns from business trips.
Complementary features include a weather notification service that alerts users when the forecast predicts temperatures falling below a specified threshold. The app also offers access to Eberspächer news updates in a user-friendly format while on the move.
Installation of the EasyStart Call (GSM receiver) and an Eberspächer pre-heater are prerequisites for using this free application.
Regarding feedback message management: When feedback functionality is enabled under “Vehicle settings,” each command sent to the heater will generate a text message response. Users must copy these responses into the app by tapping the notification at the top of the screen, copying the message to the clipboard, and then returning to the main app interface—this process is necessary due to limitations within the iOS operating system.
